His fifth solo release "Elevation", written and produced himself, offers a superb mixture of different styles. From classic hard rockers like "Sick Of The Rain" and "Dinosaurs" over to powerful pop rock songs like "Afterworld" and "Something On The Way" to cracking blues rockers "Center Of The Universe" - a wet dreams for lovers of Gary Moore's "Ballads "Blues". 2. SURGIN' - When Midnight Comes

    SURGIN' - When Midnight Comes

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“When Midnight Comes” was released only a few months after the Bon Jovi debut and most of the songs were written by Jon Bon Jovi and Jack Ponti, which was the main guy behind SURGIN. It must have been quite frustrating for Jack Ponti and his bunch while “When Midnight Comes” was minimum on par with the Bon Jovi debut – tracks like In The Heat Of The Night”, “Turn On The Radio”, “When Midnight Comes” or “Heartbeat Away” are classics cuts of the highest order and it’s a pity that this first class band went under after such a phenomenal album. 3. SUPERNOVA PLASMAJETS - Supernova Plasmajets

    SUPERNOVA PLASMAJETS - Supernova Plasmajets

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

SUPERNOVA PLASMAJETS is a young and upcoming band from Mannheim/Germany playing an interesting blend of eighties hardrock, sleaze, punk and and a slice of modern or alternative rock. Female vocalist Jennifer Crush and the guys at times sound like HALESTORM or SISTER SIN - only with with way better songs and melodies all over the place. Learn More
  4. SUNSTORM - Road To Hell

    SUNSTORM - Road To Hell

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

SUNSTORM album number six by now (!) once again combines the talents of Joe Lynn Turner (v, ex RAINBOW, ex DEEP PURPLE) and the Italian workaholic Alessandro Del Vecchio (keys, HARDLINE, REVOLUTION SAINTS). Melodic hard rock the way it should be done in 2018. Although it’s pretty obvious that the eleven tracks are mostly written by different songwriters, the overall quality is quite high. “Road To Hell“ scratches on the brilliant self-titled debut (2006). 5. STRYPER - God Damn Evil

    STRYPER - God Damn Evil

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Christian rockers STRYPER, being quite productive over the last years, put out “God Damn Evil“, their eleventh album. The guitar driven “Sorry“ and a few other songs are more than ok. “Can’t Live Without Your Love“ is close to a power ballad in the very STRYPER style but sounds like planned to the bone. Long-time fans will dig this effort for sure but the Americans will certainly not convince new fans to join their ranks. Learn More
  6. STREAMLINE - Streamline (digi pack)

    STREAMLINE - Streamline (digi pack)

    €9.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Musically Streamline has a Melodic Rock approach with a Classic hard rock flavor. Think modern day Europe, The Night Flight Orchestra, Lucifer's Friend, Black Star Riders and some early '80s Whitesnake. Their debut offers a perfectly blend of Melodic Rock with Classic Rock and the result is timeless, so get a copy asap ! Learn More
  7. STRAY BULLETS - Shut Up

    STRAY BULLETS - Shut Up

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Now Stray Bullets lacks by no means, in comparison to the leading modern Sleaze/Hard Rock bands of USA or Scandinavia. Now the band combines a fair amount of aggression with melody into a very appealing result for sleaze rock fans. Learn More
  8. STRAIGHT LINES - Straight Lines (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

STRAIGHT LINES - Straight Lines (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

There isn't a track going to waste here, although it is clear the band was a bit rough around the edges when compared to the far smoother 'Run For Cover'. This is actually a heavier record, cue the likes of 'Midnight Woman' and its raw 70's hard rock rhythms that mimic Player's 'Danger Zone' album at its hardest. A lovely debut here without a doubt, don't miss it. Learn More
  9. STRAIGHT LINES - Run For Cover (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

STRAIGHT LINES - Run For Cover (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Straight Lines were never over-heavy and the title track is a firm indication of where they were at musically. Nice melodic riffs and vital harmonies with smooth vocals from Sinclair. Great period AOR in the vein of PLAYER's "Spies Of Life". Just a pity that the band split after a lack of interest from overseas buyers. Bob Buckley and David Sinclair went on to form Body Electric with ex Ironhorse/Union man Frank Ludwig. Learn More
  10. STORMBURST - Raised On Rock

    STORMBURST - Raised On Rock

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

"Raised On Rock" feels so good! A little bit of SCORPIONS ("Under The Gun") here, a little slice of HAREM SCAREM ("All I Want Is You") there. It's a record to surprise you with heavily seventieth-flavored keyboards ("Under The Gun") and a good portion of blues, too ("Lay Your Love On Me"). A great blend of classic rock, AOR and even metal, an album to simply make you feel good. Learn More
