SWEET MARY JANE - Winter In Paradise

    €9.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

SWEET MARY JANE, a band fronted by Tomas Berggren (ex RAZAMANAZ) delivers pure AOR/Melodic Rock that takes you by storm. The opening track "Fire In Your Eyes" is a great choice. Bombastic and highly melodic stuff which will more than please fans of LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM, MISS BEHAVIOR or TREAT. Learn More
  2. SWEET & LYNCH - Unified

    SWEET & LYNCH - Unified

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Unified“ is the second album of a collaboration of Michael Sweet (v, STRYPER) and George Lynch (g, DOKKEN). Powerful vocals meet roaring guitars but that’s only half of the truth. Also James Lomenzo (b, ex MEGADETH) and Brian Tichy (ex BILLY IDOL, ex WHITESNAKE) clearly leave their mark on the material. Not every song is a killer right away but the guitar playing of Mr. Lynch and the charismatic voice of Mr. Sweet are indisputably high class. Learn More
  3. SWEDISH EROTICA - Swedish Erotica +3 (digitally remastered)

SWEDISH EROTICA - Swedish Erotica +3 (digitally remastered)

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

With the debut by SWEDISH EROTICA one of the ultimate scandinavian Melodic Hard Rock classics finally gets re-released. Originally released in 1989 via Virgin the album became a real rarity with the years. The band around later Yngwie Malmsteen-singer Mats Leven recorded an album vry much in the vein of BON JOVI, LYNCH MOB and WARRANT spiced with a shot of classic Scandinavian Melodic Rock. Learn More
  4. SURGIN' - When Midnight Comes

    SURGIN' - When Midnight Comes

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“When Midnight Comes” was released only a few months after the Bon Jovi debut and most of the songs were written by Jon Bon Jovi and Jack Ponti, which was the main guy behind SURGIN. It must have been quite frustrating for Jack Ponti and his bunch while “When Midnight Comes” was minimum on par with the Bon Jovi debut – tracks like In The Heat Of The Night”, “Turn On The Radio”, “When Midnight Comes” or “Heartbeat Away” are classics cuts of the highest order and it’s a pity that this first class band went under after such a phenomenal album. 5. SUPERNOVA PLASMAJETS - Supernova Plasmajets

    SUPERNOVA PLASMAJETS - Supernova Plasmajets

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

SUPERNOVA PLASMAJETS is a young and upcoming band from Mannheim/Germany playing an interesting blend of eighties hardrock, sleaze, punk and and a slice of modern or alternative rock. Female vocalist Jennifer Crush and the guys at times sound like HALESTORM or SISTER SIN - only with with way better songs and melodies all over the place. Learn More
  6. SUNSTRIKE - Ready To Strike

    SUNSTRIKE - Ready To Strike

    €5.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Sophomore album of Swedish outfit SUNSTRIKE easily connects with the 2014 debut "Rock Your World". Melodies as far as the ears can tell, bombastic keys, huge choirs and a "fun-guarantee", the Scandinavians know how to do it. Joachim Nordlund (g, ASTRAL DOORS) and Johann Lindstedt (dr) offer a large amount of pure AOR. Finest AOR from Sweden! Learn More
  7. STYX - The Mission

    STYX - The Mission

    €9.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The first new STYX-record in fourteen years. This alone would be a reason to celebrate but "The Mission" is a really good effort as well. The Americans offer a loosely-connected concept album about a mission to Mars. There are no fillers indeed and at least two stellar tracks by the name of "Radio Silence" and "Red Storm". Sounds, like on the last couple of records, a bit like YES „90125“ - but with balls! Learn More
  8. STRAIGHT LINES - Straight Lines (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

STRAIGHT LINES - Straight Lines (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

There isn't a track going to waste here, although it is clear the band was a bit rough around the edges when compared to the far smoother 'Run For Cover'. This is actually a heavier record, cue the likes of 'Midnight Woman' and its raw 70's hard rock rhythms that mimic Player's 'Danger Zone' album at its hardest. A lovely debut here without a doubt, don't miss it. Learn More
  9. STRAIGHT LINES - Run For Cover (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

STRAIGHT LINES - Run For Cover (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Straight Lines were never over-heavy and the title track is a firm indication of where they were at musically. Nice melodic riffs and vital harmonies with smooth vocals from Sinclair. Great period AOR in the vein of PLAYER's "Spies Of Life". Just a pity that the band split after a lack of interest from overseas buyers. Bob Buckley and David Sinclair went on to form Body Electric with ex Ironhorse/Union man Frank Ludwig. Learn More
  10. STORMBURST - Raised On Rock

    STORMBURST - Raised On Rock

    €9.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

"Raised On Rock" feels so good! A little bit of SCORPIONS ("Under The Gun") here, a little slice of HAREM SCAREM ("All I Want Is You") there. It's a record to surprise you with heavily seventieth-flavored keyboards ("Under The Gun") and a good portion of blues, too ("Lay Your Love On Me"). A great blend of classic rock, AOR and even metal, an album to simply make you feel good. Learn More
