  1. SOTO, JEFF SCOTT - Retribution

    SOTO, JEFF SCOTT - Retribution

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Finally! After the way more modern and darker SOTO-records and a bunch of other bands and projects, again a melodic rock/AOR record of the exceptional vocalist sees the light of day. JEFF SCOTT SOTO teamed up again with his longterm side-kick Howie Simon (g). The result is a compact and typical melodic record with songs that put a smile in your face. Probably not his best record ever but definitely a strong contender for the JSS top 3! The ballad „Song For Joey“ gives you goosebumps right away! Learn More
  2. SKAGARACK - Skagarack +5 (digitally remastered)

SKAGARACK - Skagarack +5 (digitally remastered)

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The debut from Torben Schmidt & Co hit the scene way back in 1986 like a sledgehammer - the album is full of AOR anthems like „Move It In The Night“, the sensational „I’m Alone“, the rockin’ „Damned Nation“ and so on - it’s hard to state a fave track while the album is full of highlights. The production is powerful and crystal clear while the mix of guitars and keyboards is simply perfect and it was a proof that the Europeans can also come up with great AOR stuff which wasn’t that self-evident way back in 1986 while the Yanks did dominate the AOR market. 3. SKAGARACK - Hungry For A Game (digitally remastered)

SKAGARACK - Hungry For A Game (digitally remastered)

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

This album is undoubtful one of the best AOR releases ever which came out of Europe and the band featuring mastermind Torben Schmidt reached easily the standard of the US bands - check classics like „Joanna“, Somewhere In France“, „She’s A Liar“, „Take Me Home Tonight“ or better the whole album while it’s even a notch better as the phenomenal debut (especially the songwriting). SKAGARACK were without the shadow of a doubt one of the leading Euro AOR outfits and it’s a pity that main song writer Torben Schmidt has lost interest in this type of music. Digitally remastered re-issue through Yesterrock. Learn More
  4. SHAKRA - Snakes & Ladders (ltd. edition digi pack)

SHAKRA - Snakes & Ladders (ltd. edition digi pack)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Swiss outfit SHAKRA, reunited with former vocalist Mark Fox rock themselves through an album in KROKUS, GOTTHARD or CRYSTAL BALL style. Twelve tracks that grab you by the balls. The material in total is not as hard as on the last efforts of the band, e.g. “High Noon“ (2016) and definitely more versatile providing mainstream rock or a ballad here and there. “Snakes & Ladders“ is a great piece of rock music and to be honest, SHAKRA haven’t put out a low quality release yet. An album like a Swiss clockwork: Absolutely reliable! Learn More

  6. SANTA CRUZ - Bad Blood Rising

SANTA CRUZ - Bad Blood Rising

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The sound on "BBS" is much more catchy, commercial and melodic hard rock oriented. The songs are amazingly catchy and where the band make the difference with the rest is in the arrangements. The harmony vocals are superb, and then you have this bombastic, modern sound design, still managing to keep that '80s feel. It's a phenomenal album from an excellent band ! Learn More

  8. REED, DAN - Confessions (digi pack)

    €15.50

After the comeback album with The Dan Reed Network last year, DAN REED is going solo again with his latest album "Confessions". A true 'solo' album as it sees Dan Reed performing all instruments and vocals alongside programming the beats and synth parts. Musically, it is not far from Dan's previous 3 solo albums, perhaphs slightly more atmospheric / synth based yeas as always, beautifully crafted and arranged with sublime melodies. Learn More

A Best Of from German power metal outfit around Ralf Scheepers (ex GAMMY RAY) and bass-player Mat Sinner (SINNER) was more than due although it focusses on the last ten years or five albums only. There are all the essential tracks like “Unbreakable“, “Rulebreaker“ up to “Black Rain“ or “Fighting The Darkness“. Comes as a double-decker including four new songs. 10. PRETTY BOY FLOYD - Public Enemies

PRETTY BOY FLOYD - Public Enemies

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The sound of bands like TRIXTER, RATT or WARRANT, the sound of the legendary Sunset Strip, that’s what you get with this four-piece. Guitarist Kristy Majors and the guys know their territory and provide songs that are often better than recent material of the competitors mentioned. The sound and production could have been a bit more powerful but still it’s a good one. Also highly suitable for both fans POISON and MÖTLEY CRÜE, of course. Learn More
