  1. CAPTAIN BLACK BEARD - Struck By Lightning

CAPTAIN BLACK BEARD - Struck By Lightning

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Captain Black Beard's newest effort is solid, powerful, modern and melodic. To be honest, I didn't find any filler or weak moment here. It's one of these records that are enjoyable from start to finish. Learn More
  2. CHRISTIAN, JAMES - Craving

    CHRISTIAN, JAMES - Craving

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Craving“ is solo album number four of the American. The HOUSE OF LORDS frontman turns to rather quiet songs here although there’s rock (“Sidewinder“) at times, too. The melancholic tone throughout the record is obvious and songs like „Jesus Wept“ or “If There’s A God“ showcase intense and in-depth lyrics. The more uptempo “Wild Boys“ is the closest you get to his original Band HOUSE OF LORDS. Learn More
  3. CORE LEONI - The Greatest Hits Part 1

CORE LEONI - The Greatest Hits Part 1

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

GOTTHARD guitar player Leo Leoni invited some musicians outside his band - with the exception of drummer Hena Habegger - to join him on a journey revisiting part of the GOTTHARD back catalogue. You might question whether this output makes sense or not but the quality of both songs and performance is definitely given. On vocals - which aside of Leoni’s guitar is the most crucial element here - you get none but Ronnie Romero (LORDS OF BLACK, RAINBOW) and he simply delivers! Quo vadis, GOTTHARD? Learn More
  4. CRYING STEEL - Stay Steel

    CRYING STEEL - Stay Steel

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The Italian heavy metal outfit CRYING STEEL plays a sound similar to JAG PANZER, RIOT or ,when it comes to melodies, even PRAYING MANTIS. Definitely far away from any trend whatsoever and surfaced in 1985 (!) out of the ruins of WURDALAK, the southern Europeans manage to go full throttle featuring none but the mighty Tony Mills (ex SHY, ex TNT) on vocals. Well done! Learn More
  5. CRYSTAL BALL - Crystallizer +2 (ltd. edition digi pack)

CRYSTAL BALL - Crystallizer +2 (ltd. edition digi pack)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

For whatever reason Swiss outfit CRYSTAL BALL seem to constantly lurk in the shadows of their fellow countrymen GOTTHARD, KROKUS and SHAKRA. But they deserve way better and they do so for many years. Hard rock full of riffs and mostly strong hook lines is what you get with “Crystalizer“, too. Tracks like “Alive For Evermore“ or “Beauty In The Beast“ and many others belong on stage. SWITZERLAND rocks! Learn More
  6. CRYSTAL TEARS - Decadence Deluxe

    CRYSTAL TEARS - Decadence Deluxe

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Kommt inklusive eines starken JUDAS PRIEST-Covers („Heart Of A Lion“). Sicher nicht wirklich originell, aber sehr gut gemacht und mit zahlreichen Songs wie „Where Angels Die“ oder „Death Haunts Forever“, die einen so schnell nicht wieder loslassen. Learn More
  7. DOKKEN - Return To The East Live (CD + DVD)

DOKKEN - Return To The East Live (CD + DVD)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The few recent gigs played with the original line-up of the American band have of course been recorded. Despite negative reviews because of the shape of Don Dokken’s voice, the songs are still magic and the material got polished in the studio a little bit for sure. Iconic tracks like “Kiss Of Death“, “Into The Fire“ or “Tooth And Nail“ need no introduction, though. Comes with two acoustic studio tracks and a brand-new song, too, recorded by the very original line-up, of course! Learn More
  8. DOOMSDAY OUTLAW - Hard Times

    DOOMSDAY OUTLAW - Hard Times

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Young British outfit DOOMSDAY OUTLAW absolutely convince on their second album and play traditional hard rock in the very vein of INGLORIOUS, BIG FOOT, WAYWARD SONS or even THUNDER. Frontman Phil Poole sings himself casually through the eleven songs full of emotion and attitude. “Hard Times“ is a blues-infused but mostly just rocking album which would have made its mark even in the late seventies. “Into the Light“ is a superb ballad. Learn More
  9. DUKES OF THE ORIENT - Dukes Of The Orient

DUKES OF THE ORIENT - Dukes Of The Orient

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Finest progressive rock in the vein of YES or ASIA written and performed by veterans John Payne (v, ex ASIA, GPS) and Erik Norlander (keys, LAST IN LINE, LANA LANE). Definitely not surprising given the fact that DUKES OF THE ORIENT are basically an alternative incarnation of ASIA. Eight songs full of magic moments. For example the final long track “Give Another Reason“ concentrating all the band’s qualities in about ten minutes. Learn More
  10. FM - Atomic Generation

    FM - Atomic Generation

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Atomic Generation“ combines all qualities of the five-piece. No FM album since “Tough It Out“ (1989) has ever been so close to the original sound of the band (“Golden Days“). Not only the unique voice of Steve Overland but also superb songwriting and high musicianship are remarkable. There’s definitely a lot of blues (“Playing Tricks On Me“ or “Stronger“) in it, too, easily bridging the gap to their more recent outputs. Learn More
