  1. REFUGE - Solitary Man (digi pack)

REFUGE - Solitary Man (digi pack)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The RAGE-line up with Peavy Wagner (v/b), Manni Schmidt (g) and Chris Efthimiades (d), playing live under the name of REFUGE, one of their strongest tracks ever, for a short while now, put out a new album by the name of “Solitary Man“. An album similar sounding to the most melodic period in the career of RAGE, the years 1987 to1993. Really cool trying to sound like back then AND moreover, actually managing to do so. Thanks RAGE, well…REFUGE! Learn More
  2. PRAYING MANTIS - Gravity (digi pack)

PRAYING MANTIS - Gravity (digi pack)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

British band PRAYING MANTIS - once part of the early NWOBHM movement along with IRON MAIDEN and SAXON - easily manage to stick to their very trademarks without just repeating themselves over and over with album number eleven. “Gravity“ is a great piece of music which again benefits from the recent line-up changes. The first half on the album rocks very much while the second is pretty emotional and intense. Learn More
  3. POINT BLANK - On A Roll (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

POINT BLANK - On A Roll (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

In fact the band were vastly different than on their earlier material, coming at you like a cross between Doc Holliday (circa 'Modern Medicine') and a heap of other eighties heroes like 38 Special, Axe and cohorts. Unfortunately, this was the end of the road for Point Blank, as they broke up not long after. But needless to say, they are a band for which any self respecting melodic rock fan should have some of their material stashed away in their CD collection. Digitally remastered re-issue. Learn More
  4. POINT BLANK - American Excess (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

POINT BLANK - American Excess (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

"American Excess" (1981) catches POINT BLANK at their most interesting point, as they attempted to ease out of their 70's southern roots and into a more contemporary AOR sound. While the majority of the album is commercial it's noticeable that the band hadn't totally eased out of their Southern years, the album a mixture of both on the whole. Learn More
  5. PERFECT PLAN - All Rise

    PERFECT PLAN - All Rise

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Melodic rock from 2018 that does not deny its inspiration. Interesting new band from (of course!) Sweden that will easily appeal to fans of ONE DESIRE, WORK OF ART, ECLIPSE or GIANT. Frontman Kent Hilli and the guys did their homework for sure. Mostly uptempo and highly melodic tunes which certainly do not invent anything new but put a smile in the face of every lover of the genre. Learn More
  6. PAOLO MORBINI PROJECT - 2017 (Japan CD)

PAOLO MORBINI PROJECT - 2017 (Japan CD)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

In 2017 both Myland key members Paolo Morbini and Guido Priori brought back together to release “2017” under the monicker of “Paolo Morbini Project”. Not sure if anyone remember the Myland album from 2007, but also "2017" delivers a superb slice of classics 80s flavored AOR stuff in the tradition of Survivor, Journey & co. Learn More
  7. MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST - Resurrection (CD + DVD, digi pack)

MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST - Resurrection (CD + DVD, digi pack)

MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST showcases the three former MSG-vocalists Gary Barden, Robin McAuley and Graham Bonnet as well as additional guests like Kirk Hammett (g, METALLICA) or Doogie White (v, ex RAINBOW). The two songs “Warrior“ and “Last Supper“ feature all four vocalists and apart from that every singer gets his share of songs. „Resurrection“ is by far the best Schenker output of the last couple of years - and there have been some really good ones! 8. MASS - When 2 Worlds Collide

MASS - When 2 Worlds Collide

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Finest melodic hard rock all over the place on this eighth album already of the band from Boston/USA. It’s an interesting mixture of TNT, MAGNUM and CHEAP TRICK. “When 2 Worlds Collide“ has got huge emotions, classic rock elements as well as mighty vocals. Let alone the monster song “Only A Dream“ shine. Fillers? Not a single one! Not to be confused with the German band by the same name, though. Learn More
  9. MAGNESS, CLIF - Lucky Dog

Slightly rocking Westcoast sounds are to be discovered here. The first CLIF MAGNESS record in a long, long time offers eleven tracks which mostly take you by storm and contain long-lasting melodies at the same time. LORDS OF BLACK - Icon Of The New Days (2 CDs, digi pack)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

One of the hottest newer bands/projects around are the LORDS OF BLACK with the current RAINBOW-frontman Ronnie Romero. They third effort by now manages to connect to the strong debut “Lords Of Black“ (2014). The five-piece takes you by storm with songs like “When A Hero Takes A Fall“ or “King’s Reborn“. Somewhere between PRIMAL FEAR and GOTTHARD, LORDS OF BLACK will certainly find their place. Learn More
