  1. POCO - Legacy (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

POCO - Legacy (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

After years on the circuit, playing a country tinged West Coast type sound, Poco attempt to poke their nose into the melodic rock camp, and guess what? They do real well. This album 'Legacy' (1989) has a few things in it's favour, namely the production camp of David Cole and Richard Marx and some of the friends who helped out, like Lee Sklar, Gary Mallaber, Jeff Porcaro (RIP), C.J Vanston, Joe Chemay and Richard Marx himself. 2. POWER QUEST - Sixth Dimension

    POWER QUEST - Sixth Dimension

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

British power metal band POWER QUEST like their fellow countrymen DRAGONFORCE play themselves from one speed record to another but definitely don’t forget great melodies and diverse arrangements. Ashley Edison, the new vocalist is one hell of a singer and together with huge choirs „Sixth Dimension“ turns out to be fantastic. Let alone the two anthems “Kings And Glory“ and “No More Heroes“ justify the purchase - and the rest is all but inferior. Learn More
  3. REED, DAN - Confessions (digi pack)

REED, DAN - Confessions (digi pack)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

After the comeback album with The Dan Reed Network last year, DAN REED is going solo again with his latest album "Confessions". A true 'solo' album as it sees Dan Reed performing all instruments and vocals alongside programming the beats and synth parts. Musically, it is not far from Dan's previous 3 solo albums, perhaphs slightly more atmospheric / synth based yeas as always, beautifully crafted and arranged with sublime melodies. Learn More
  4. RIAN - Out Of The Darkness

RIAN - Out Of The Darkness

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

RIAN is melodic rock from Sweden. It’s a promising three-piece that teamed up with producer Daniel Flores (THE MURDR OF MY SWEET, FIND ME) and puts out a remarkable debut record in the vein of classic BON JOVI, WINGER, GIANT or VAN HALEN to name just a few artists. Eleven songs tracks full of melody but also with a good punch. From („Hide Away“) to power ballad („Remember“), „Out Of The Darkness“ has it all! Learn More
  5. ROLIE, GREGG - Gregg Rolie (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

ROLIE, GREGG - Gregg Rolie (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

If you like it the way VAN STEPHENSON or STEVE PERRY did, then you will also dig the solo debut of Gregg Rolie. “Young Love” is a fantastic opener, “Close My Eyes” a great midpaced songt, written by Paul Janz and “I Wanna Go Back” a great version of the well known Eddie Money song. A true AOR classic and utterly essential for for every serious AOR lover. Learn More
  6. ROMEO RIOT - Sing It Loud

ROMEO RIOT - Sing It Loud

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Featuring Ty Tims (BOMBAY BLACK), Jace Pawlak (solo artist), Scott Miller (TANGO DOWN), MARK GIOVI (FARCRY) and Erik Johnson (BOMBAY BLACK) it shouldn't be much of a surprise that ROMEO RIOT sounds like an amalgam of those acts mentioned above. Pure and classy 80s flavored melodic rock stuff in the vein of ADRIAN GALE / FIREHOUSE and cohorts is the playground for ROMEO RIOT and it's tailor made for all classic melodic rock lovers. 7. SCHERER/BATTEN - Battlezone

    SCHERER/BATTEN - Battlezone

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Jennifer Batten used to play guitar with MICHAEL JACKSON (remember “Dirty Diana“?). „Battlezone“ is a guitar-driven album with emotional and touching vocals. Lots of drama and eighties flavored sounds. Sometimes sounding a bit like SURVIVOR („What Do You Really Think“), sometimes rather GIANT (“The Sound Of Your Voice“) but with plenty of individual class. Apparently nothing but a match made in heaven. A magnificent record. Learn More
  8. STEELHEART - Through Worlds Of Stardust

STEELHEART - Through Worlds Of Stardust

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

„Through Worlds Of Stardust“ has nothing in common with the mighty first record (1990) and hits like “I’ll Never Let You Go“ or “She’s Gone“. Well, Miljenko Matijevic can sing for sure but this effort lacks melodies and even more a consistent red line. Quite hard and modern (alternative) rock this time. If you put away high expectations, a few tunes, mostly ballads, (e.g. “With Love We Love Again“) show what could have been possible. Learn More
  9. STRAIGHT LINES - Run For Cover (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

STRAIGHT LINES - Run For Cover (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Straight Lines were never over-heavy and the title track is a firm indication of where they were at musically. Nice melodic riffs and vital harmonies with smooth vocals from Sinclair. Great period AOR in the vein of PLAYER's "Spies Of Life". Just a pity that the band split after a lack of interest from overseas buyers. Bob Buckley and David Sinclair went on to form Body Electric with ex Ironhorse/Union man Frank Ludwig. Learn More
  10. STRAIGHT LINES - Straight Lines (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

STRAIGHT LINES - Straight Lines (JAP CD, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

There isn't a track going to waste here, although it is clear the band was a bit rough around the edges when compared to the far smoother 'Run For Cover'. This is actually a heavier record, cue the likes of 'Midnight Woman' and its raw 70's hard rock rhythms that mimic Player's 'Danger Zone' album at its hardest. A lovely debut here without a doubt, don't miss it. Learn More
