  1. SOUTHGANG - Group Therapy (digitally remastered)

SOUTHGANG - Group Therapy (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Southgang was one of the countless pretty-boy hard rock bands to emerge from the late 80's hair metal craze. Their first album „Tainted Angel“ (1991) was a really good hair metal album very much in the vein of bands like Danger Danger, Bang Tango and the less radio friendly side of Skid Row. Produced by Howard Benson the entire album was co-written by Desmond Child. This set-up got changed for the follow up „Group Therapy“ (1992) which saw the mighty Keith Olsen (Whitesnake) at the production helm as well and the change to a much rawer and slightly more Southern rock flavoured hard rock sound. Overall a top notch album which only got releases too late. Bad Reputation re-issue, digitally remastered. Learn More

Formed in 1992 by ex-Kooga vocalist Neville MacDonald and former UFO/Jagged Edge guitarist Myke Gray, and completed by bassist Andy Robbins (Tokyo Blade) and ex-Bruce Dickinson drummer Dicki Fliszar, the quartet enjoyed considerable popularity until a post-grunge implosion. Backed by a major label record deal from Parlophone, which allowed them to use ace producer Keith Olsen (Scorps, Whitesnake), the band a strong impact with their 1994 released debut, which not only secured an UK top 20 hit with the song “Money”, they also managed to make the UK top 10 album charts. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation records incl. 14 studio bonus tracks on disc 2 and 18 live tracks on disc 3. Value for money ! ATTENTION - shipment expenses counts as 2 CDs ! SKID ROW - The Gang’s All Here (ltd. edition digi pack)

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The Americans have put out two immoral records end of the eighties and beginning of the nineties with frontman Sebastian Bach but disappeared almost to nothing afterwards. Only recently when new frontman Erik Grönwald (ex H.E.A.T.) joined forces with the band, SKID ROW seems to have refreshed themselves a lot. Here also you not only find killers for sure but most of the material is really good. Pretty raw are the harder songs and wonderfully melodic the ballads and mid-tempo tunes. Learn More

SIDE KIXX - Talk Of The Town (digitally remastered)

    €15.50

Kudos to Bad Reputation for making this little known gem finally officially available. Side Kixx were a New Jersey based quartet, signed to the same management as Trixter. But while Trixter got a deal with a major label Side Kixx had to release their one and only album "Talk Of The Town" (1988) independently. A real shame, cause the the music on "Talk Of The Town" from this New Jersey quartet is similar to that of bands like Trixter, Bon Jovi, TNT and Firehouse, with pumping guitar anthems and first class vocals. If you liked Hair Metal back then, you should definitely check out Side Kixx today! Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Repuation records. Learn More

After five years from the release of the second official studio album "It's About Time", Norwegian AOR hot shot Satin is finally back with his strongest effort so far, an album which represents a testament to the fact that the melodic rock scene is still alive in the hearts and souls of plenty of artists and fans. "Appetition" can be properly considered a real showcase of the talent and skills of the award-winning Scandinavian vocalist, producer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, who decided to continue the legacy started with the two previous efforts "Satin" (2014) and "It's About Time" (2017). RED PHOENIX - Red Phoenix +1 (digitally remastered)

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Red Phoenix rose from the ashes of Australian rock legends The Angels. While the band was on hiatus, lead singer Doc Neeson's car was rear-ended by a truck leaving him suffering chronic back and neck pain as well as blurred vision. Doc Neeson re-emerged in 2005, with this new band, teaming once again with one-time Angels' bassist Jim Hilbun, guitarist David Lowy as well as guitarist Peter Northcote and drummer Fabrisio Omodei. In 2005 they released their debut album, produced by former Angels producer Terry Manning, but they had to cancell all shows due to Doc’s state of health and this killed the album. This little known gem is finally available again as a limited edition through MelodicRock Classics. Learn More
  7. MORATTI, ROB - Epical

    MORATTI, ROB - Epical

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Former SAGA and FINAL FRONTIER frontman Rob Moratti with his fifth solo effort. MORATTI, as usual, offers extremely melodic songs. Outstanding players like e.g. Tony Franklin (b, BLUE MURDER) or Joel Hoekstra (g, WHITESNAKE) as well as lots of songs penned by AOR experts Ulrick Lönnqvest (CODE RED) oder Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK) and the fascinating voice itself make “Epical“ an absolute recommendation for lovers of the melodic genre. Check out “Valerie“ and “For The Rest Of My Life“. Great album! Learn More

    €16.00

It all started in mid-1989 when singer & guitarist Greg Gilley was trying to get his project off the ground and reached out to guitarist Joe Villarreal who was fresh out of playing in the Houston band, The Jaxx. Joe brought in drummer Kevin Coffey from the band Project X, and the nucleus of MISERY was formed. The band recorded their first independent cassette only release in 1991, “Misery Loves Company,” with no outside producers or engineers. The album featured ten tracks, offering a nice slab of classic US hair metal influenced by Dokken, Ratt and early Van Halen. First time ever on CD through Eonian Records, digitally remastered. When your former band makes totally different music after your own departure it’s pretty natural that you sooner or later go back to well-known territory. That's what German singer Michael Bormann from Duisburg did. For the second time he puts out an album very reminiscent of what JADED HEART used to do back in the day and could have been out right after e.g. “Inside Out“ (1994). And one of the best German hard rock vocalists, if not THE best, is Mister Bormann anyway. Learn More

LaMarca is the brainchild of soul singer Abe Lamarca, who began his singing career in the 1970s, before moving to Los Angeles singing demos and working for songwriters before Scottie Bros/CBS Records released his debut album “LaMarca” (1985). It was a solo endeavor that found this soul lover singing some catchy pop-rock songs, a few of which made it to the big screen, most notably, ‘Hold On Blue Eyes’ from the movie ‘The Wraith’ starring Charlie Sheen. Never released on CD until now, this cult classic is a wet dream for Hi-tech AOR lovers into The Arrows, Body Electric, Think Out Loud or Bridge 2 Far.
