  1. SAVE THE WORLD - One

    SAVE THE WORLD - One

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

It’s the band of the three multi-instrumentalists Dan Tracey (v/g, ALAN PARSONS PROJECT), Robert Wright (b/keys) and Jon Wysocki (d, STAIND). This debut was originally published in 2017 and was able to massively stirr up the underground. Modern, partly progressive rock with amazing melodies and an absolutely stellar production. A brave but very cool signing by Frontiers Music. Sounds almost like an evolutionzed hybrid of SPOCK’S BEARD and TOTO. Wonderful! Learn More
  2. ROSANDER, CHRIS - King Of Hearts

ROSANDER, CHRIS - King Of Hearts

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“King Of Hearts“ is the debut of 22-year-old (!) Swede Christian Rosander who obviously got a great early musical education as nowadays probably not many youngsters write and record songs in the finest TOTO or Westcoast fashion. Learn More
  3. REVLIN PROJECT - Trascender

    REVLIN PROJECT - Trascender

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The Lions Pride label seems to have a weakness for bands from exotic countries and their latest release from REVLIN PROJECT surely fullfill this conditions, cause this bunch hails from Bogota, Columbia. Formed in 2016 they released an EP called "Dimension" one year later in 2017. Now they have their first album "Trascender" on offer and like so many other bands from South America they're into the keyboard dominated AOR sound not that far away from bands like 91 Suite or Sapphire Eyes, but surely not at the same level. The biggest problem is like many other exotic bands the lead vocals from singer Renato Costa, which sounds a bit pressed besides his accent. Learn More

In 1988 they released another EP on cassette, but after some live shows they called it a day. All their recordings are now available for the very first time on CD. 5. RANSOM - Ransom +4 (digitally remastered)

RANSOM - Ransom +4 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Ransom was, quite likely, the best of the fully-female fronted Christian bands of the “hair era”. Not only did Lisa Faxon have some incredibly strong vocals, the band, as a whole, was very talented, with guitar player Tony Ortiz being one of the better axe slingers you have probably never heard. The group’s 1991 self-titled debut brings a joining of commercial metal and hard rock that fans of Shout, Stryper, Guardian, Angelica and Holy Soldier will be certain to appreciate. So if second half of the ’80s Lita Ford, Heart, Saraya, etc is your thing, you can’t miss this Ransom’s debut album. You’ll be surprised. And if you already own this record, listen to the crisp remaster and the collectible bonuses. Learn More

    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Swedish outfit PROUD, founded as BURN in 1982, with their second album - 37 years after their debut “Fire Breaks The Dawn“ (1984). “Second Act“ is classic melodic rock like it’s probably almost only possible in Sweden. The material offers a warm sounding production. Two original members are still on board. The guitars foremost but also the versatile voice of Anders Magnell bring the eighties back to life as well as the massive amount of keyboards do. Just check out ear-candy like “Broken Dreams“, “Crying In The Night“ und “Dangerous“. Mix and master by Erik Mårtensson (ECLISPE). Learn More
  7. PRODIGAL - Prodigal +4 (digitally remastered)

PRODIGAL - Prodigal +4 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Based in Cincinnati, Prodigal was fully in tune with the sounds and spirit of the late 70's and 80's with the self-titled release of their 1982 debut album on Heartland Records. Fronted by keyboard wiz, Loyd Boldman, Prodigal took their cues from technology driven bands like Styx and DeGarmo & Key (especially the early years), but also showed influences from artists like Steely Dan, Ambrosia, Sweet Comfort Band and Atlanta Rhythm Section. In fact, this album struck such a chord with both critics and fans, that Prodigal's self-titled debut album was named Album of the Year in 1982 by Group Magazine. Digitally remastered re-issue incl. 4 bonus tracks. Learn More
  8. PRODIGAL - Just Like Real Life +4 (digitally remastered)

PRODIGAL - Just Like Real Life +4 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Prodigal's swan song was the impressive “Just Like real Life,” (1985) an album filled with so much great music and original concepts that any description will really not do it any justice. Ranging from hard “new wave” to American rock and roll there are ten fantastic tracks here. The vocals are as diverse as the music as three different lead vocalist shared the duties. the most notable is Loyd Boldman and his HUGE voice. Throughout the entire record great riffs and monster walls of sound permeate every song, but the band never could break out of the Christian rock market and this is indeed a crying shame, cause they deserved a much bigger audience. Digitally remastered re-issue incl. 4 bonus tracks. Learn More
  9. PRODIGAL - Electric Eye (2 CDs, digitally remastered)

PRODIGAL - Electric Eye (2 CDs, digitally remastered)

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Despite the fact Cincinnati, Ohio based Prodigal was musically ahead of its early to mid-eighties time, it did not always receive similiar accolades as its contemporaries - in the form of recognition and commercial success - and by and large (and sadly) has fallen beneath the radar of the current hard music landscape. One would not be out of line to suggest, for instance, that cohorts from the period such as DeGarmo & Key, Petra and Sweet Comfort Band potentially attracted a wider audience and were household names to the greater extent in comparison. Maybe a notch punchier as their eponymous debut "Electric Eye" (1984) still stands as a superb slice of Christian melodic rock. Digitally remastered re-issue. Learn More
  10. PLAYER - Room With A View (JAP CD)

PLAYER - Room With A View (JAP CD)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

After the release of their second album "Danger Zone" (1978) singer / guitarist and founding member J.C. Crowley left the band. New members Miles Joseph (vocals, guitar) and Gabriel Katona (keyboards, ex-Rare Earth) joined Beckett, Moss and Friesen in the studio for the group's third album, "Room With a View" (April 1980), produced by Peter Beckett with Tony Peluso. Pretty similar in style to "Danger Zone" the album follows the paths of the huge successful west coast AOR style from Toto, Chicago and cohorts, but the album failed in terms of sales and Ron Moss left the band becoming an actor in the TV series "The Bold and the beautiful". Strictly limited Japanese re-issue with a superb sound quality. Learn More
