  1. CREYE - II

    CREYE - II

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Young Swedish outfit CREYE was able to stir up the AOR world with their magnificent debut in 2018. And also, the sophomore album “II“ is superb AOR although on a couple of songs the Swedes push the boundaries a bit (“Siberia“). Ear candy like “Face To Face“, “Find A Reason“ or “Broken Highway“ are unrivaled. Essential stuff for fans digging ONE DESIRE, WORK OF ARRT, ART NATION or (early) H.E.A.T.! So that’s how you do AOR in 2021! Learn More
  2. DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH - Diamond In The Rough +2

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH - Diamond In The Rough +2

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH from Canada is finest stuff for fans of GLASS TIGER, LEVEL 42 (!), SPANDAU BALLET (!!) und TOTO. Originally released in 1989, the band could’t really make it, for whatever reasons, although signed to Virgin Records back in the day. Unbelievable given the quality of tracks like “Walk On The Wire“, “Run From The Dark“ or ´“Thief In The Night“, they have got every ingredient a typical late eighties hit needed to have. Learn More
  3. EAST TEMPLE AVENUE - Both Sides Of Midnight

EAST TEMPLE AVENUE - Both Sides Of Midnight

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

A new melodic supergroup? Well, in a way, yes! EAST TEMPLE AVENUE, the “baby“ of Australian Darren Phillps (g) who collaborates with the Swedes Philip Lindstrand (g, ARKADO), Dennis „Butabi“ Borg (b, CRUZH) and Herman Turin (d, WORK OF ART) as well as with the mighty voice Robbie LaBlanc (v, FIND ME, BLANC FACES) and delivers an AOR/melodic milestone. Let alone ´“Don’t Make Believe“, “My Last Breath“ or “When I’m With You“ shine. The ballads “The End Of Me“ and “Where Love is“ are amazing, too. Great production, absolutely no fillers and stellar musicianship are key points here. Please more, guys! Stadion rock-like anthems and emotional tunes which will definitely stay. Learn More
  4. FIERCE HEART - War For The World (digi pack)

FIERCE HEART - War For The World (digi pack)

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Iconic shredmaster Rex Carroll whets the appetite for his singular skills with the scorching opening instrumental off "War For The World", the new album from his pre-Whitecross recording band, Fierce Heart. The remainder of the album is as solid and reliable as the rhythm section, steady 4/4 beats, great vocals, incendiary guitar. The power ballad “Lost In Love” provides a soothing midpoint for the album; while none of the second half of the album’s songs match the heat of “Built For Speed” or “Out For Blood”, they kick along with aural energy. Despite the thirty-five year gap between albums, Fierce Heart prove they are imminently dependable and on top of their game. Classy hard rock next to Buckcherry / old Gotthard. Learn More
  5. FIREHOUSE - Firehouse +8 (2 CDs, digitally remastered)

FIREHOUSE - Firehouse +8 (2 CDs, digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The music here is all tried and true Glam Metal pretty much 100% - following the formula of the acts that had come before (think Skid Row, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Motley Crue to name a few) and there is also a little bit of AOR to be had here. Possibly one of the greatest debuts of all time they won a Grammy in 1992 by chosen over Nirvana and Alice In Chains!! Bad Reputation re-issue. Learn More
  6. FLESH & BLOOD - Blues For Daze +2 (digitally remastered)

FLESH & BLOOD - Blues For Daze +2 (digitally remastered)

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

FLESH & BLOOD was a short-lived but amazing super-group put together by Mark Mangold after his 3 AOR albums with Drive She Said, looking for a more rocking, bluesy-based sound. Alongside Mark Mangold on keyboards there’s the awesome Danny Vaughn (Tyketto) on vocals, Al Pitrelli (Savatage, Joe Lynn Turner) on guitar, Chuck Bonfante (Saraya, Drive She Said) on drums and Mitch DeStefano on bass. “Blues For Daze” is indeed a bluesy-based hard rock / classic rock affair mixing upbeat rockers and atmospheric midtempo / ballads with more than a hint of AOR / Melodic Rock. Danny Vaughn is simply the star of the show as his vocal performance is amazing, Bad Reputations re-issue, digitally remastered. Learn More
  7. GALE FORCE - Subhuman

    GALE FORCE - Subhuman

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

A new group without a doubt embodying the return of real rock is called GALE FORCE. The outfit is a driving rock band with something to say, combining infectious guitars & vocals, emotional melodies, gutsy rhythms and time relevant lyrics with line-up to include vocalist Mike Lee (BARREN CROSS), guitarist Tracy G (DIO), bassist Randy Ovideo and rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Paul Alfery (Walk The Walk). Gale Force has been together as a band for not even two years, yet they have put together a powerful album of metallic hard rock that completely sideswiped me. Singer Mike Lee has not lost a step at all vocally, as he is all over this songs from the get-go! Highly recommended for both Barren Cross and Dio fans ! Learn More
  8. GARIES, JOHN ALLAN - It's Your Choice (digitally remastered)

GARIES, JOHN ALLAN - It's Your Choice (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

If you remember JAG – an AOR/Hard Rock band that put out three later style White Heart-ish albums in the 90s – then you will recognize this guy’s voice. Garies is where JAG got its name – his initials. He also mentions recording this album in 1986, but said it is best left forgotten. I’m not sure about that – it’s just that this is less heavy than anything JAG did. Its starts off almost lounge music sounding, but the guitars do kick in. It’s just really caught in the early 80s sound, even though it was recorded in the late 80s. No band members are listed, so it is either Garies doing all the instruments himself, or uncredited musicians adding other instruments. First time ever (officially) on CD, digitally remastered re-issue. Learn More
  9. GLASGOW - Zero Four One +1 (digitally remastered)

GLASGOW - Zero Four One +1 (digitally remastered)

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Another great rerelease comes your way. Scottish band GLASGOW from, well, Glasgow, with unfortunately their only full release. For whatever reason the band didn’t make it back in the day although the songs on their 1987 debut are excellent. Essential stuff for lovers of the likes of FM, FORTUNE or ICON. It’s keyboard-driven AOR and hard rock with great vocals (Mick Boyle). Comes with a bonus cut from the original sessions. Don Airey, today in DEEP PURPLE, guests on keyboards. One of the highlights on “Zero Four One“ is the energetic CHRIS THOMPSON cover “Secrets In The Dark“. Limited to 500 copies, digitally remastered and incl. liner notes by Dave Reynolds - so you better be quick! Learn More
  10. HEAVY BONES - Heavy Bones (digitally remastered)

HEAVY BONES - Heavy Bones (digitally remastered)

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Heavy Bones was an early 90s semi-supergroup. Containing Joel Ellis on vocals(ex-Cats In Boots), Frankie Banali on drums(ex-just about everyone in the 80s, and rounding it out with guitar hero Gary Hoey and bassist Rex Tenison. The most misleading thing about Heavy Bones is their name. Maybe if they had a better band name, and better cover artwork, they would have been a little more well received. Heavy Bones released a pretty solid melodic hard rock record considering what was relevant at the time. There are some real gems here with songs like "4 A.M. T.M.," "Where The Livin' Is Easy," and "Summers In The Rain" are all great and easily the highlights. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation records. Learn More
