  1. JAG - Fire In The Temple (digitally remastered)

JAG - Fire In The Temple (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Jag was the acronym for front man John Allen Garies and over the course of their relatively short career released three well-received discs; 'The Longest Road' in 1990, 'The Only World In Town' the following year and their final effort 'Fire In The Temple' in 1992. Jag hit its stride at a time when Christian AOR was peaking with the likes of Crossection, Halo, The Brave, Rachel Rachel and Guardian; shifting major units and drawing large, well-mannered crowds. White Heart connections abound on 'Fire In The Temple' with production by Billy Smiley and featuring then current and former members adding their instrumental prowess. Digitally remastered re-issue. 2. JAG - The Longest Road (digitally remastered)

JAG - The Longest Road (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Jag started in 1987 when singer John Allen Garies released an independent cassette called "It's Your Choice" on the private label Steady Wind Records featuring 10 songs. That record got the attention of Billy Smiley, founding member of Whiteheart, which not only managed to get a deal for the band with Benson records, he also produced all their three albums. "The Longest Road" (1990) starts off strong, with a very GIANT-like guitar intro and a serious Whiteheart-like rhythm. Again, the influence of both of these bands abound through the album and the mighty Dann Huff even guests on the track "Shake It Off". Digitally remastered re-issue. Learn More

LEGS DIAMOND - Out On Bail +5 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Despite glowing reviews for all three late 70's releases things never worked out for Legs Diamond, as their respective labels Mercury and Cream ignored the band, their poor promotion causing the band to come to a standstill following 1978's "Firepower". After recording some demos, a lack of label interest ground Diamond to a halt temporarily. Thanks to a DJ in San Antonio constantly plugging the band, Legs reformed in 1983. Songs such as ‘Walk Away’, ‘Fugitive’, ‘Find Out The Hardway’ and the title track attracted considerable attention in the European press, giving the band a new lease of life after years spent battling apathy in their native country. Rock Candy re-issue, digitally remastered, 5 bonus tracks. Learn More

Legs Diamond released their sixth album in 1990 to wide acclaim, certainly attracting more attention and publicity than their first four records released in the 1970s and 80s. Issued in 1990, the record was considered a real return to form, many saying that it was the best release since their 70s heyday. It also signalled the welcome return of original guitarist Roger Romeo back into the band after several years pursuing other opportunities. ‘Town Bad Girl’ is a record that contains a brace of stellar tracks, including ‘City Streets’, ‘Look Into Her Eyes’, "I Am For You" and ‘Never Enough Time’, some of the greatest moments in the Legs Diamond cannon. Rock Candy re-issue, digitally remastered, 1 bonus track. Learn More

This re-release (limited to 1000 copies, numbered, incl. hand signed postcard, digitally remastered) of the second LIAR album (1978) is good stuff for people digging SLADE, BOSTON or UFO. The Brits rock. Steve Mann (g, LIONHEART, MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST) is still active today. “Town Of Evil People“ is a wonderful, slightly melancholic ballad and “Who Cares“, for instance, will please guitar freaks because SCHENKER or HENDRIX might have been great influences. Unbelievable that LIAR did not break back in the day. Learn More
  9. LION - Dangerous Attraction (digitally remastered)

LION - Dangerous Attraction (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

LION was the band who performed the theme song for the big screen animated Transformers movie. The band, which featured guitarist Doug Aldrich (who would later join Dio and Whitesnake) and Kal Swan (of Tytan), straddled the line between hard rock and US metal, and had a sound similar to Dokken, Hurricane, Leatherwolf and Kick Axe. Doug Aldrich’s guitar work is just smokin’ here, and Kal Swan is a massive presence on vocals. The songs are all hard-hitting but very melodic. Fans of the ‘80s hard rock and US 80s metal scene should definitely have some Lion on their collections, and "Dangerous Attraction" is a great place to start, especially now that it has been remastered. Rock Candy re-issue. Learn More
