ZAFFIRO, DAVID - Yesterday's Left Behind (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

In 1994 David Zaffiro released his fourth album titled 'Yesterdays Left Behind' which follows in the veins of his third release 'Surrender Absolute'. There are a few tracks here that are note worthy with the first being the tune "Winds Of September" which is a well executed tune where we find guest vocalist Steven Patrick stepping up to the microphone from the well known band Holy Soldier. 'Winds of September' was written by Steven Patrick and the vocal work is very reminiscent of his work with Holy Soldier. Besides the usual instrumentals ("Nothing's Gonna Stand In Your Way") you'll also find here the bluesy Country rock flavored instrumnetal track "Bottle Top". Digitally remastered re-issue. Learn More

    €15.50

Fans of the Seattle based melodic metal band Bloodgood are certain to be familiar with guitarist David Zaffiro, the talented musician who contributed the fast fingered lead guitar work to the bands first three albums. After departing Bloodgood following the release of its 1988 effort "Rock In A Hard Place", Zaffiro recorded his first solo album entitled "The Other Side" (1989) in which he goes after a stylish acoustic laced combination of hard rock and melodic rock and handles the lead vocals as well. The album opens to three superb polished hard rockers in "Stay", "I See Red" and "Where Are You Now" that would sound right at home on "Rock In A Hard Place". Digitally remastered re-issue. ZAFFIRO, DAVID - Surrender Absolute (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

In 1992 David Zaffiro released a third album called 'Surrender Absolute'. This album finds David leaving the Metal genre and moving down to the Soft Rock section falling more into the 80s AOR category.David got joyned by his ex- band college Michael Bloodgood and AVION singer Randall Waller and this makes the whole thing even more attractive for the AOR fan base. David Zaffiro shines at the three instrumentals "Silas And Serai", "Attitude" and "No Long Goodbyes" in true Joe Satriani / Steve Vai style. Possibly his finest solo release and worth having for 80s Christian AOR lovers. Digitally remastered re-issue. Learn More
  4. ZAFFIRO, DAVID - In Scarlet Storm (digitally remastered)

ZAFFIRO, DAVID - In Scarlet Storm (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Solo outing number two for ex- BLOODGOOD axe slinger David Zaffiro. This time around we are given less metal and more middle-of-the-road, melodic rock. The guitar work is polished and is not overly flashy, even in the lone instrumental "Blue Ice". This track really reminded me of something Joe Satriani might do and is probably my favorite track on the CD. The music on the rest of the disc is a bit more melancholy than his first solo CD and seems to be a bit more emotional as well. When this CD came out in 1990 a lot of BLOODGOOD fans were disappointed that this CD was so mellow in comparison to Zaffiro's former band and even his first solo CD, but over time many, how grown to appreciate the mellower side. 5. WOLFF, JESSICA - Para Dice

    WOLFF, JESSICA - Para Dice

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Third album by beautiful Finnish singer JESSICA WOLFF stretches out into more modern territory for the most part, is heavier and therefore simply different than „Grounded“ (2015). But the great melodies are still around and, of course, it’s all about the voice. Guitars are darker, though. “Para Dice“ is not a bad effort but old fans should definitely give it a spin and check out tracks like “Perfect Kind Of Wrong“ oder “Super Hero“ first. Learn More

If ‘UTI” was released 5 years earlier, Wildside would have been a household name and probably would be talking about a multi-platinum selling band. Armed with a sound that was a mixture between Ratt and Cinderella, they had the sound, the talent, the look and the attitude to be a huge band. Learn More

Finnish vocalist Tommi „Tuple“ Salmela (TAROT, LAZY BONEZ) puts out his first ever solo effort. It’s a kind of concept album dealing with his life. Musically, you get melodic hard rock with a huge amount of poppy AOR which means tons of keyboards and, of course, strong hooklines. “Wooden Box“ is well-produced and offers different approaches stylistically.
