  1. 5IVE YEARS GONE - Rock'N'Roll Rebirth

    5IVE YEARS GONE - Rock'N'Roll Rebirth

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

5IVE YEARS GONE from Italy offer easy-going rock in the vein of more recent BON JOVI or BRYAN ADAMS. Nice songs, some of which are really good and the rest is never below average. Tracks like “Mary Jane“ and “Scars Of Love“ provide a good impression of the sound of the record. There’s still potential, therefore, the album title might be a bit too ambitious, though. Vocalist Paolo Cernic is reminiscent of TOM PETTY at times. Learn More
  2. ALIEN - Alien (25th anniversary) - 2 CDs

    ALIEN - Alien (25th anniversary) - 2 CDs

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Even though the ALIEN debut is 31 years old now it has lost nothing of its magic. In particular the two anthems “Only One Woman” and “Tears Don’t Put Out The Fire” are still a wet dream for any AOR fan. This reissue contains the original Scandinavian version with Jim Jidhed on vocals as well as the later US-version with new singer Pete Sandberg on vocals on some songs. Furthermore the re-release contains the two bonus tracks “Feel My Love” and “Touch My Fire” which make this album even more essential. Go and get your copy asap! Ltd. edition of 1000 copies ! 3. ALIEN - Into The Future

    ALIEN - Into The Future

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ALIEN is back with a new album. The Swedish outfit around Jim Jidhed (v), Tony Borg (g) and Toby Tarrach (d) sound unexpectently heavy and really rock like hell. But at the end of the day, it’s Jidhed’s voice alone that makes AOR freaks smile broadly. Tracks like “Night On Fire“, “Time Is Right“ or “Freedom Wind“ might be classified as classic ALIEN material, even though definitely heavier but the opener “You Still Burn“ definitely surprises even more, like “Really Wheeling It“ does. Really heavy guitars and a contemporary production are nothing but bridging the gap from eighties AOR to hard rock today. Learn More
  4. ALL I KNOW - Vanity Kills +11 (deluxe edition)

ALL I KNOW - Vanity Kills +11 (deluxe edition)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ALL I KNOW were some very promising newcomers on Andrew McNeice’s Melodic Rock Records label way back in 2010. The three guys from Belgium mix Melodic Rock in the style of early STAGE DOLLS with a big shot of youthful Power-Pop a la JONAS BROTHERS. The 12 songs on “Vanity Kills” rock vividly, infect you with a good mood and are catchy as hell. Highlights are the powerful ballad “Asphyxia”, the mid-tempo cracker “Rain” (remixed by Beau Hill), the light-footed up-tempo opener “All Night Long” and the very STAGE DOLLS-like “Bad Boy”. A crisp and fresh album! The re-issue contains 11 bonus tracks (compilation tracks, demos, outtakes), indeed value for money. Learn More
  5. ALTZI, RICK - All Eyes On Me

ALTZI, RICK - All Eyes On Me

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Highly melodic contemporary AOR and melodic rock with bits and pieces of metal is offered here on “All Eyes On Me“. The Swedish singer (MASTERPLAN) fully convinces on his first ever solo album. Fourteen songs written together with Ulrick Lönnquist (CODE RED) with lots of high calibre guests like Joel Hoekstra (g, e.g. WHITESNAKE), Nalle Påhlsson (b, TREAT) or Oliver Hartmann (g, AVANTASIA) arouse attention. Check out the energetic “Point Of No Return“ and “Tossin’ And Turnin’“. Killer melodic rock stuff - don't miss it ! Learn More
  6. ANIMS - God Is A Witness

ANIMS - God Is A Witness

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ANIMS from Italy and their heavy rock on “God Is A Witness“ will make you listen. The record rocks for a good part but offers some slower moments as well (“Live For Somebody“). Female singer Elle Noir knows her job well. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Roberti Priori (DANGER ZONE). The songwriting is still not perfect but one or the other real highlight (“Boring Lovers“ or “The Dancers“) can be found here, though. Learn More
  7. ART OF ILLUSION - X Marks The Spot

ART OF ILLUSION - X Marks The Spot

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ART OF ILLUSION is a collaboration of the two Swedes Anders Rydholm (g/b/keys, GRAND ILLUSION, CODE) and Lars Säfsund (v, WORK OF ART, LIONVILLE, ENBOUND). Perfect stuff for fans of LAST AUTUMN’S DREAM, LIONVILLE, ART NATION and CWF and from WORK OF ART and GRAND ILLUSION foremost, of course. “X Marks The Spot“ definitely is one early highlight of the year. 8. AUDREY HORNE - Devil’s Bell (digi pack)

AUDREY HORNE - Devil’s Bell (digi pack)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

AUDREY HORNE from Norway once again surprise with their mix of 70s and 80s hard rock with many slices of NWOBHM – kind of Thin Lizzy meets Iron Maiden Surprising foremost because the guitar players in the band usually play really heavy and powerful. “Devil’s Bell“ offers stadium anthems at times and frontman Tosche is reminiscent of Ozzy in his classic BLACK SABBATH years (“Danse Macabre“). Interesting record, though, which will push the band once again for sure. Learn More
  9. AUTUMN'S CHILD - Autumn's Child

    AUTUMN'S CHILD - Autumn's Child

    €9.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The Swedes - apart from Erlandsson there are Jona Tee (keys, H.E.A.T.), Robban Bäck (d, ex ECLIPSE, MUSTACH), Pontus Åkesson (g, SAFARI MOON) and Claes Andreasson (g, HEARTBREAK RADIO) simply rock. Tracks like “Face The Music“ or “Heaven Knows Your Name“ need to be played live. Caught somewhere between hard rock, AOR and pop stylistically, this debut offers a powerful and versatile production. Strong record! Learn More
  10. BABYLON A.D. - Nothing Sacred +3 (digitally remastered)

BABYLON A.D. - Nothing Sacred +3 (digitally remastered)

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Babylon A.D enjoyed a small success with their selftitled debut (1989) album and they still gained trust from Arista to release this second album in 1992. But after that, they were dropped and disappeared until they made a come back in 1999. Standout tracks here are "Take The Dog Off The Chain", "Psychedelic Sex Reaction", "Dream Train", and the absolute monstrous power ballad, "So Savage The Heart". Even though this albums lacks of originality and offered nothing new, it's definitely a fun cruise of the 90s hard rock which was quite rare back then. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation records incl. 3 bonus tracks. Learn More
