  2. 99 CRIMES - 99 Crimes

    99 CRIMES - 99 Crimes

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Hailing from Texas, 99 Crimes proves that '80s inspired traditional hard rock in the vein of Dirty Looks, Y & T or Triumph isn't dead in America. As you might expect from Lidel, you are getting some old school / no frills rock n’ roll and his voice has a real retro ’70s feel to it, very well balanced by Lynn's more melodic approach. Learn More
  3. AFFÄIRE - Less Ain't More

    AFFÄIRE - Less Ain't More

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

All songs on this album drive the rhythm with a cowbell, in a true American sleazy / hair metal fashion circa 1987. Opener 'Paradise Café' is a pure rock n’ roll fun track with some early Great White meets Def Leppard '81 on it, 'Girls Nite Out' invites you to a party with its catchy chorus, while 'Nasty but True' brings to my mind underrated Americans Black N Blue. Very well produced with an '80s feel - at the same time current and updated - good stuff for hair metal fans! Learn More
  4. AGE OF REFLECTION - A New Dawn

AGE OF REFLECTION - A New Dawn

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The second album of the Swedish outfit is a high flyer by all means. “A New Dawn“ is finest melodic rock/ AOR showcasing superb songwriting, a very powerful production and with Lars Nygren a frontman with an amazing range who made remarkable steps forward compared to the 2017 debut “In The Heat Of The Night“ which was a great album, too, to get it straight. 5. AIRBOURNE - Boneshaker +2 (ltd. edition digi pack)

AIRBOURNE - Boneshaker +2 (ltd. edition digi pack)

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

AC/DC clone, which is all but negative here, that simply grabs you by the balls. After some rather quiet years, the Australians return with “Boneshaker“. Dry, irresistible hard rock which pretty much captures the live atmosphere and energy of the band like no other studio effort before. Well, of course, expecting new sounds is definitely not appropriate here but that’s probably something which fans of the Australians and their obvious idols look forward to least in AIRBOURNE. 7. ANGEL - Live Without A Net (digitally remastered)

ANGEL - Live Without A Net (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

In the 1970s double live albums were often the calling card of an act that had either made its mark or were about to explode to international fame. Angel was no exception as all eyes had been on the band for some considerable time in preparation for an anointment to the premier league. With five studio albums behind them there was no shortage of material from which to compile this album. Recording two concerts in California during 1978 plus some surprises like the Mott The Hoople standard ‘All The Young Dudes’ and a brand studio track, ‘20th Century Foxes’. The record failed to connect in the way that everyone had hoped for as also their label Casablanca Records were fast losing traction. Rock Candy re-issue. Learn More

ANGEL - Sinful +2 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ANGEL, one of the most representative acts from the early American pomp AOR scene, for their last album "Sinful" changed the musical focus to a more commercial FM-friendly style. For years a cult recording and quite hard to find on CD, it's being released digitally remastered by the British label Rock Candy. "Sinful" is just filled to the brim with great poppy/rockin' songs. In fact, with this album Angel predated the hair metal movement by 4/5 years spicing the melodic & catchy melodies with late seventies hard rock undertones. A departure from their pomp origins, "Sinful" is the more accessible and radio friendly album by Angel, ironically their less popular and a commercial failure mostly due the scarce label support. 10. ANGEL - White Hot +2 (digitally remastered)

ANGEL - White Hot +2 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

‘White Hot’ was the fourth Angel album, following three highly praised but commercially disappointing previous records. This time around, they decided to take stock and plan a different musical strategy. One that saw them refining their style, drawing on hard hitting pop rock rather than overt prog touches. Originally released in 1978, and housed in a beautifully illustrated album sleeve, the record boasted ten tracks of lean and mean rock, with the emphasis on hard hitting hooks and hip kicking riffs. . Look out to for the, bonus, rare Canadian only single B-side ‘Better Days’.” Digitally remastered re-issue from Rock Candy records incl. 2 bonus tracks. Learn More
