  1. AARON, LEE - Radio On! (digi pack)

AARON, LEE - Radio On! (digi pack)

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The former metal queen is not metal any more in a long time, at least on record, and therefore, her new studio output is mostly pop/rock and blues. “Radio On!“ was, according to the press release, written and recorded on a single weekend what some of the songs certainly reveal but the Canadian can sing and play for sure. A timeless rock album with a few single highlights like “Cmon“ or “Great Big Love“. Learn More
  2. ADAM'S CURSE - What The Ancients Knew About Us

ADAM'S CURSE - What The Ancients Knew About Us

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“What The Ancients Knew About Us“ is the debut of former GLYDER-guitarist Bat Kinane’s band and a great surprise, too. Dry rockers, dreamy blues songs and almost poppy tunes at times as well as a powerful production which sounds pretty organic and analogue, that’s what you get here. Just check out “A Vibe For Philo“ or “Tattoos & Loneliness“. Certainly no music to party to but honest, grown-up and timeless music between hard rock, blues, singer/songwriter and many other facettes. Learn More
  3. AGE OF REFLECTION - A New Dawn

AGE OF REFLECTION - A New Dawn

    €2.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The second album of the Swedish outfit is a high flyer by all means. “A New Dawn“ is finest melodic rock/ AOR showcasing superb songwriting, a very powerful production and with Lars Nygren a frontman with an amazing range who made remarkable steps forward compared to the 2017 debut “In The Heat Of The Night“ which was a great album, too, to get it straight. 4. ALIADOS - Get Off My Life

ALIADOS - Get Off My Life

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Time for another exotic release, this time we're talking about the band Aliados from Peru. They're in the business since 1996 with three albums in their discography as following : "Abre Tu Alma" (2000), "Aun" (2005) and "Luz" (2016). The first album has been released on a major label (Columbia) and "Get Off My Life" is now their first release with English lyrics on Kivel records. The five piece from Peru pays hommage to bands like Bon Jovi and Gotthard with their catchy melodic rock sound, but their songs are more or less just average at its best and by judging the usual issues with the lead vocals from such exotic countries this is not really on the priority list for melodic rock lovers. 5. ALIEN - Alien (25th anniversary) - 2 CDs

    ALIEN - Alien (25th anniversary) - 2 CDs

    €16.00

Even though the ALIEN debut is 31 years old now it has lost nothing of its magic. This reissue contains the original Scandinavian version with Jim Jidhed on vocals as well as the later US-version with new singer Pete Sandberg on vocals on some songs. Furthermore the re-release contains the two bonus tracks “Feel My Love” and “Touch My Fire” which make this album even more essential. Go and get your copy asap! Ltd. edition of 1000 copies ! 6. ALIEN - Into The Future

    ALIEN - Into The Future

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ALIEN is back with a new album. The Swedish outfit around Jim Jidhed (v), Tony Borg (g) and Toby Tarrach (d) sound unexpectently heavy and really rock like hell. But at the end of the day, it’s Jidhed’s voice alone that makes AOR freaks smile broadly. Tracks like “Night On Fire“, “Time Is Right“ or “Freedom Wind“ might be classified as classic ALIEN material, even though definitely heavier but the opener “You Still Burn“ definitely surprises even more, like “Really Wheeling It“ does. Really heavy guitars and a contemporary production are nothing but bridging the gap from eighties AOR to hard rock today. Learn More
  7. AOR - Heavenly Demos

    AOR - Heavenly Demos

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

As the album title states, these are songs pre-production demos of tracks already known but featuring different vocalists, mix, and some of them are unreleased. Curiously, some of these demo versions are better than the ones finally appeared on the different AOR official releases. Learn More
  8. ARKADO - Never Say Never

    ARKADO - Never Say Never

    €7.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Never Say Never“ is great stuff for fans of ROULETTE, SAPPHIRE EYES or AGE OF REFLECTION, too. An acoustic version of the title track ends the album in a very high manner. Learn More
  9. ART OF ILLUSION - X Marks The Spot

ART OF ILLUSION - X Marks The Spot

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ART OF ILLUSION is a collaboration of the two Swedes Anders Rydholm (g/b/keys, GRAND ILLUSION, CODE) and Lars Säfsund (v, WORK OF ART, LIONVILLE, ENBOUND). Perfect stuff for fans of LAST AUTUMN’S DREAM, LIONVILLE, ART NATION and CWF and from WORK OF ART and GRAND ILLUSION foremost, of course. “X Marks The Spot“ definitely is one early highlight of the year. 10. ATLAS - Parallel Love

    ATLAS - Parallel Love

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Album number two by British melodic rock outfit offering progressive bits and pieces at times, too. “Parallel Love“ deals with various relationships of different kinds, although not being a true concept album. ATLAS offer a reasonable amount of heavy guitars, as well huge keyboards and a singer (Craig Wells) who really rocks and brings a little bit of crispiness into play. Learn More
