  1. 3.2 - Third Impression

    3.2 - Third Impression

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The project of multi-instrumentalist Robert Berry (v) and Keith Emerson (keys) who worked together since 1987 with their second output. “Third Impression“ is full of classic progressive rock , “Top Of The World“) and amazing rather quiet moments (“Bond Of Union“). The record was recorded by Berry and Emerson only, shortly after Emerson unfortunately passed away. Finest music in the tradition of EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, of course and KANSAS or YES. Learn More
  2. ADAM'S CURSE - What The Ancients Knew About Us

ADAM'S CURSE - What The Ancients Knew About Us

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“What The Ancients Knew About Us“ is the debut of former GLYDER-guitarist Bat Kinane’s band and a great surprise, too. Dry rockers, dreamy blues songs and almost poppy tunes at times as well as a powerful production which sounds pretty organic and analogue, that’s what you get here. Just check out “A Vibe For Philo“ or “Tattoos & Loneliness“. Certainly no music to party to but honest, grown-up and timeless music between hard rock, blues, singer/songwriter and many other facettes. Learn More
  3. ADRIAN GALE - Crunch

    ADRIAN GALE - Crunch

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The mighty were ADRIAN GALE one of the strongest US Melodic Rock bands of the new millenium. Their previous album “Re-Program” was a real killer and the same applies to the follow up “Crunch” (2004). Even though the album rocks not as straight forward as its predecessor, it features numerous great tracks in the vein of DANGER DANGER and JAGGED EDGE. My faves are the varied title track, the ass-kicking up-tempo anthem “Faith”, the beautiful Rock ballad “Without A Moment's Notice”, the colourful “Long Gone” and the heavily rocking mid-tempo tune “The Thin Line”. The only weak point is the a bit unnecessary instrumental “Question”. However, both thumbs up for another great album! Learn More
  4. ADRIAN GALE - Feel The Fire

ADRIAN GALE - Feel The Fire

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Melodic rock “Made in the USA” made a nice comeback way back in the year 2000 when John Kivel started his new label Kivel Records. ADRIAN GALE featured the vocals of singer extra ordinaire JAMIE ROWE (ex GUARDIAN) and the band proved that they could be the “next big thing” from the USA. “Feel The Fire” is full of highlights like the opener “Feel The Fire” which reminds me of a more commercial CINDERELLA while tracks like “Save Our Love” or “Reep What You Saw” are straight out of the DAMN YANKEES songbook and the mega ballad “If The Sun” is a dead ringer for NIGHT RANGERS “Sister Christian". Simply awesome from start to finish and a must have for every serious melodic rock collector ! Learn More
  5. AGE OF REFLECTION - A New Dawn

AGE OF REFLECTION - A New Dawn

    €5.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The second album of the Swedish outfit is a high flyer by all means. “A New Dawn“ is finest melodic rock/ AOR showcasing superb songwriting, a very powerful production and with Lars Nygren a frontman with an amazing range who made remarkable steps forward compared to the 2017 debut “In The Heat Of The Night“ which was a great album, too, to get it straight. 6. ALIEN - Alien (25th anniversary) - 2 CDs

    ALIEN - Alien (25th anniversary) - 2 CDs

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Even though the ALIEN debut is 31 years old now it has lost nothing of its magic. In particular the two anthems “Only One Woman” and “Tears Don’t Put Out The Fire” are still a wet dream for any AOR fan. This reissue contains the original Scandinavian version with Jim Jidhed on vocals as well as the later US-version with new singer Pete Sandberg on vocals on some songs. Furthermore the re-release contains the two bonus tracks “Feel My Love” and “Touch My Fire” which make this album even more essential. Go and get your copy asap! Ltd. edition of 1000 copies ! 7. ALIEN - Into The Future

    ALIEN - Into The Future

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ALIEN is back with a new album. The Swedish outfit around Jim Jidhed (v), Tony Borg (g) and Toby Tarrach (d) sound unexpectently heavy and really rock like hell. But at the end of the day, it’s Jidhed’s voice alone that makes AOR freaks smile broadly. Tracks like “Night On Fire“, “Time Is Right“ or “Freedom Wind“ might be classified as classic ALIEN material, even though definitely heavier but the opener “You Still Burn“ definitely surprises even more, like “Really Wheeling It“ does. Really heavy guitars and a contemporary production are nothing but bridging the gap from eighties AOR to hard rock today. Learn More
  8. ALLIES - Allies (digitally remastered)

    ALLIES - Allies (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Formed as a by-product of the Christian outfit Sweet Comfort Band (SCB), which was the vehicle for musician Randy Thomas. When they split in 1984, singer Bryan Duncan went on to a successful solo career while Thomas formed Allies, inviting a relatively unknown Bob Carlisle to join as the singer. The style prevalent on SCB's last album 'Perfect Timing' was a natural progression for Thomas to take into Allies, but even so, he improved the quality ten-fold, so much so that this Allies debut album (1985) is now a collectors item among the melodic rock fraternity. This improvement was also a recognition of Dino Elefante's excellent production job. Almost perfect 80s AOR stuff – every home needs a copy ! Learn More
  9. ALLIES - Virtues (digitally remastered)

    ALLIES - Virtues (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Christian band Allies were one of the better acquisitions for the Light Music label back in the mid 80's. With Allies, the label released just the two albums: 'Allies' (1985) and this one 'Virtues' the following year. I rate both albums very highly, with former Sweet Comfort Band guitarist Randy Thomas and singer Bob Carlisle leading the way. Vocalist Bob Carlisle seems in better command of his voice here and spends less time "showing off" his range and more just trying to communicate the lyric. Standouts here are the hunger relief ballad "Prayer for the Children" and the anthemic rocker "Runnin' Out of Time". Overall nearly as good as their debut, this is another prime example of perfect keyboard driven 80s AOR stuff. Learn More
  10. AOR - Heavenly Demos

    AOR - Heavenly Demos

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

As the album title states, these are songs pre-production demos of tracks already known but featuring different vocalists, mix, and some of them are unreleased. Curiously, some of these demo versions are better than the ones finally appeared on the different AOR official releases. Learn More
