  1. WHITE SKIES - Black Tide

    WHITE SKIES - Black Tide

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

WHITE SKIES is the baby of Mick White (ex SAMSON, FIRST STRIKE). Together with Ray Callcut (g, YA YA) and Pete Lakin (keys, ex DANTE FOX, ex DOUBLE CROSS) he creates slightly heavy AOR. The band from England delivers catchy melodies and arrangements which are reminiscent of TOTO here and there (“Emily“). Fascinating debut with a great voice foremost and amazing guitar solos, too. “Two Worlds Collide“ is one of the best songs of the year. Learn More
  2. VIOLET - Illusions

    VIOLET - Illusions

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

A young German band from the Stuttgart area which plays keyboard-driven AOR sounds without any compromise? Well, here is VIOLET! The band around female singer Jamie takes the eighties sound of HEART, VIXEN, STARSHIP or even LITA FORD onto a new level of cheesiness. Extremely poppy at times, though, but actually pretty cool and well-crafted musically. Just check out “Sophie“ and “Run Away“. Additionally, there’s a great SAMATHA FOX cover version. Learn More
  3. VAMP - The Rich Don't Rock (digitally remastered)

VAMP - The Rich Don't Rock (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Originally released in 1989 via Atlantic Records, VAMP’s “The Rich Don't Rock” album should be held in the same regard as other classic hard rock albums of the era from CINDERELLA, HELIX or BRITNY FOX. Produced by Tony Platt (AC/DC, Foreigner) and stuffed to the rafters with arena-ready choruses, hooky guitars and Tom Bellini's ballsy vocals, “The Rich Don't Rock" was a creative triumph for the German group and they toured all over Europe with the likes of White Lion, Bulletboys and Bonfire. Disappointed by the lack of support from their record company the band called it a day after a while (but they recorded a bunch of demos for a 2nd album). Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Repuation records. Learn More
  4. TURKISH DELIGHT - Volume One

    TURKISH DELIGHT - Volume One

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Yet another project from Escape Music - but a very special one! TURKISH DELIGHT contains tracks sung by e.g. Jeff Scott Soto, Robin McAuley, Jerome Mazza, Terry Brock or James Christian to name only some. “Volume One“ is a compilation put together by Escape Music label boss Khalil Turk which makes you want to hear more which is - given the album title - pretty much possible. So more melodic rock, AOR and hard rock is coming your way. Great record! 14 diamonds you get! A trip through a melodic wonderland with countless big players of the genre. Learn More
  5. TUPLE - Welcome To Hell

    TUPLE - Welcome To Hell

    €2.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

TUPLE is Tommi „Tuple“ Salmela (v, TAROT, LAZY BONES). Keyboard-driven melodic hardrock with elements of glam and certain parallels to WIG WAM, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA or even RETURN. But this guy from Finland is able to push the limits of the genres aside here and there a little bit. Examples would be the popish “Hold On To Me“, the duet “Survive“ with BATTLE BEAST frontwoman Noora Louhima or the rock club anthem “Pride“, which will make you dance. The songs are loosely connected lyric-wise and take the listener on a trip to Aspen, Colorado in the 18th century. TUPLE has absolutely come to stay and “Welcome to Hell“ is rather heavenly than hellish… Learn More
  6. TORA TORA - Surprise Attack +4 (digitally remastered)

TORA TORA - Surprise Attack +4 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Hailing from Memphis, Tora Tora won a rock contest put on by a local record store and they took the money and made a demo. The demo lead to a record deal with A & M records and their debut album „Surprise Attack“ was released in 1989. This is a splendid album that shows what rock is all about unfortunately it also shows us how important timing is. This came out in 1989. Kiss, Poison, Cinderella, Skid Row, and a few others were still putting out pretty good stuff, but this album was like a breath of fresh air. These guys, along with Tesla and Badlands, were way overlooked. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation records incl. 4 bonus tracks. Learn More
  7. THE ROADS - Simple Man

    THE ROADS - Simple Man

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Another mighty project with illustrious musicians like Mick Devine (v, SEVEN), Gary Pihl (g, BOSTON, SAMMY HAGAR) or Laurence Gowan (keys, STYX), Paul Taylor (keys, WINGER) as well as Josh Devine (d, LEVARA, ONE DIRECTION). Classic and very much Seventies infused melodic rock with strong hook lines and timeless arrangements. Pretty authentically produced by the way. THE ROADS should be on the radar! The title track alone is stunning - like the rest! Learn More
  8. THE KILL - Wake The Dead +6 (digitally remastered)

THE KILL - Wake The Dead +6 (digitally remastered)

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The roots of this Florida based outfit goes back to the year 1993 when guitarist Kip Elder posted an ad in an Orlanda based rock magazine. After the line-up has been completed the band met a guy called John Kurzweg, who had his own studio in his house. John produced the album „Wake The Dead“ and short after he become a multi-platinum record producer for the band Creed. „Wake The Dead“ got only released as a limited pressing of 1,000 copies and became a huge collectors item. With a sound in the slightly heavier 90s hair metal style aka Skid Row, Badlands and Sweet F.A. this digitally remastered re-issue through Eonian Records has been digitally remastered and also offers 6 bonus tracks. 9. TARMAT - Out Of The Blue

TARMAT - Out Of The Blue

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

TARMAT from Brazil play AOR and melodic rock without any compromises. “Out Of The Blue“ offers a certain SURVIVOR touch although the voice (Alexandre Daumerie) is quite different from their obvious inspiration but the songwriting can’t hide its influence. The pretty catchy “Backbone Feeling“ or the relaxed “Moving Backwards“ make a really good first impression. A versatile, mature production meets cool compositions. Learn More
  10. STREETLIGHT CIRCUS - Super Fine Sugar

STREETLIGHT CIRCUS - Super Fine Sugar

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Super Fine Sugar“ is simply fun. Some high calibre guests like Jesper Binzer (v, D:A:D), Berton Averre (v, THE KNACK) or Tony Harnell (v, ex-TNT) can be found here. ’Dirty Earth’ and ’Take Me To The River’ are just two of many strong compositions with versatile arrangements and great joy of playing. Album number two of the Americans is full of hard rock, some blues and a little bit of honky tonk. Timeless music with an authentic production and a small portion of eye-twinkling lyrics. Learn More
