  1. SEVEN SPIRES - Emerald Seas

    SEVEN SPIRES - Emerald Seas

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

SEVEN SPIRES, according to their label Frontiers Records, are one of the hopefuls for the future of hard rock and metal. “Emerald Seas“, the sophomore record of the Americans, offers exciting songwriting at times and bits and pieces of different genres such as progressive metal, folk or AOR. Females voice Adrienne Cowan who also fronts SASCHA PAETH’S MASTER OF CEREMONY, has got a stunning voice. Not a record to listen to while ironing but that’s rather positive, isn’t it? Learn More
  2. SEMBLANT - Obscura

    SEMBLANT - Obscura

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Very hard and unusual stuff from Frontiers Records. SEMBLANT can be considered as melodic death outfit and there hasn’t been anything like that from the melodic label based in Naples, Italy. The Brazilians SEMBLANT are very heavy which might not be everyone’s taste. Either you like it or not. Actually not bad in the rather quiet moments with clean (female) vocals but when it comes to the (male) growls it gets…well, nasty. “Obscura“ has got a powerful production, though. Learn More
  3. SECRET RULE - Against

    SECRET RULE - Against

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Italian band SECRET RULE have always been delivering good music but “Against“, their fifth album, is not only their best effort so far, but also one that takes no prisoners. Female singer Angela Di Vincenzo knows how to use her „instrument“ pretty well and the songwriting combines melodic and progressive metal with gothic elements for the most part. A pristine but powerful production completes the picture here. Fans of e.g. WITHIN TEMPTATION or THEATER OF TRAGEDY be alerted! Learn More
  4. SAPPHIRE EYES - Magic Moments

    SAPPHIRE EYES - Magic Moments

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

SAPPHIRE EYES is one of the best Swedish melodic bands out there - and there are a lot. Anette Olzon (v, ex NIGHTWISH) is on board again, like on the last album, singing guest vocals on one track (“Bring Back the Night“). Melodic sounds with amazing hooklines, versatile arrangements and a very detailed production. A great piece of music and a highlight of the year for sure. Kimmo Blom (URBAN TALE) on vocals. Just check out “Cutting Like A Knife“. Learn More
  5. SAINTS TRADE - Time To Be Heroes

SAINTS TRADE - Time To Be Heroes

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

The melodic rock / AOR music of Saints Trade certainly live up to their good-time / feel-good moniker. Across nearly an hour, they showcase here just why this sound is alive and well in 2019. Slightly harder edged as their labal colleges Blade Cisco the Italian three piece has written some really strong melodic hard tunes, but they also have to deal with just average lead vocals from their singer Santi Libra, which is their biggest weakness. 6. ROSS THE BOSS - Born Of Fire (ltd. edition digi pack)

ROSS THE BOSS - Born Of Fire (ltd. edition digi pack)

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Like the last effort of the former MANOWAR guitar player, “Born Of Fire“, too, is full of powerful riffs and roaring vocals. Due to singer Mark Lopes you hear the sound of the good old days but in an up to date production. Old school heavy metal without any fuzz like samples or the like. This record with its authenticity easily outplays the last twenty years of his former employers by name of MANOWAR. Learn More
  7. ROOM EXPERIENCE - Another Time And Place

ROOM EXPERIENCE - Another Time And Place

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ROOM EXPERIENCE stand for AOR with a little bit of Classic Rock. The Italian outfit is able to have David Readman (v, PINK CREAM 69) on board for their seconds album again as well as several other guests. Mainman Gianluca Firmo (keys) wrote lots of outstanding tracks. Just check out “The Distance“ and “Strangers In The Night“. To cut it short: Music to beam you to another, better and timeless place! Great record! Learn More

    RETURN - V (digitally remastered)

    €13.00

Outstanding tracks like “Take This Heart“ or “Ridin’ On A Rainbow“ would have been major hits back then in a world without grunge in 1992, of course.
