2AM - When Every Second Counts +1 (digitally remastered)

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

2AM was an English based duo courtesy of vocalist Dave Lloyd (Nutz/Rage) and guitarist/songwriter Mark Thomas. The high-tech AOR duo delivered their one and only album in 1987, before splitting in 1988 after being dropped by their label RCA, leaving behind a true classic that fans have traded audio copies over the last 30 years. Unfortunately, there is a sad side to this reissue. Mark Thomas was only recently discovered to have passed away several years ago after dropping out of the industry many years earlier. With a sound somewhere between MR. MISTER, STABILIZERS and THINK OUT LOUD „When Every Second Counts“ was initially released on CD, but almost impossible to find. Limited edition of 500 copies ! 3. ALIAS - Alias +4 (digitally remastered)

ALIAS - Alias +4 (digitally remastered)

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Alias were the merger of personnel from two of Canada's best melodic rock bands, namely Sheriff and Heart - two parts Sheriff meets three parts Heart. At best, a virtual supergroup in the true AOR/melodic rock mould, featuring the talented vocalist Freddy 'The Siren' Curci. On paper, this amalgam promised much, on record it was put to the test and passed with flying colors. Not only do they play the part but they also look the part, in true AOR fashion. Of course we all remember the worldwide smash hit 'More Than Words Can Say', but also we cannot forget the re-work of the Brett Walker classic 'Waiting For Love' and the punchy rock of 'Standing In The Darkness'. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation records. Learn More
  4. ALICATE - Butterfly

    ALICATE - Butterfly

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Butterfly“ is the fourth album of the band. Die Swedes are no newcomers anymore although until now they flew under the radar and vocalist Jonas Erixon is an experienced songwriter (GIANT, SKILLZ, SWEET OBLIVION), too. The title track is a fantastic and extremely melodic and emotional song that sticks out but also the rest of the tracks are mostly way above average. And they are able to rock like “Rise Once Again“ proves which is reminiscent of ECLIPSE. Learn More
  5. ALLEN/OLZON - Army Of Dreamers

    ALLEN/OLZON - Army Of Dreamers

    €17.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Two great voices are showcased here by Magnus Karlsson (g, PRIMAL FEAR, ALLEN/LANDE). Anette Olzon (THE DARK ELEMENT, ex-NIGHTWISH) and Russel Allen (SYMPHONY X) fully deliver here vocally. Style-wise pretty reminiscent of ALLEN/LANDE or AVANTASIA which comes as no surprise. Let alone songs like “Are We Really Strangers“ or “Out Of Nowhere“ shine. Obviously everything Mister Karlsson touches seems to work out really fine. Learn More

“Enemy“, album number two of the Swedes (ex-GRAND ILLUSION, DECOY), offers typical Scandinavian pompy melodic rock / AOR. Best stuff for fans of ART OF ILLUSION, GRAND ILLUSION or WORK OF ART. 9. CHERRY ST. - Squeeze It Dry

CHERRY ST. - Squeeze It Dry

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

„Squeeze It Dry“ (1993) was more or less a reworked version of the independently released selftitled Cherry St. album. With distribution through BMG records and with tracks produced by Erik Turner (Warrant) and Tommy Thayer (Kiss, Black N’ Blue), mastering & mixing by Pat Regan (Mr. Big) – who also produced some songs – you can expect a much higher level as with their indie release. Chock full of ballsy, swagger, crunchy hooks and some great lead vocal / guitar work, fans of heavier Poison (think Crack A Smile era), late 80s Motley Crue, Britny Fox, L.A. Guns, Love/Hate, etc, will enjoy this album. There really isn’t a bad song on this – the songs overall just crank. Prerris records re-issue incl. new artwork. Learn More
  10. COMPASS - Theory Of Tides

    COMPASS - Theory Of Tides

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

“Theory Of Tides“, second album of British progressive rockers COMPASS with Steve Newman (g/keys, NEWMAN) can fully convince. It’s a concept album about life and works of Galileo Galilei and musically it’s somewhere between DREAM THEATER, SAGA, IT BITES and PINK FLOYD, which means that there are no boundaries whatsoever. A pristine production and a beautiful artwork completes the picture here. Learn More
