  1. EAST TEMPLE AVENUE - Both Sides Of Midnight

EAST TEMPLE AVENUE - Both Sides Of Midnight

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

A new melodic supergroup? Well, in a way, yes! EAST TEMPLE AVENUE, the “baby“ of Australian Darren Phillps (g) who collaborates with the Swedes Philip Lindstrand (g, ARKADO), Dennis „Butabi“ Borg (b, CRUZH) and Herman Turin (d, WORK OF ART) as well as with the mighty voice Robbie LaBlanc (v, FIND ME, BLANC FACES) and delivers an AOR/melodic milestone. Let alone ´“Don’t Make Believe“, “My Last Breath“ or “When I’m With You“ shine. The ballads “The End Of Me“ and “Where Love is“ are amazing, too. Great production, absolutely no fillers and stellar musicianship are key points here. Please more, guys! Stadion rock-like anthems and emotional tunes which will definitely stay. Learn More
  2. EPICA - Omega (ltd. edition digi book, 2 CDs)

EPICA - Omega (ltd. edition digi book, 2 CDs)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

EPICA combines a magical female voice with extremely heavy male vocals that at times can even be growls. In general, the material is often theatrical and majestic. And having that in mind, great stuff for lovers of NIGHTWISH, WITHIN TEMPTATION or AFTER FOREVER. “Omega“ offers an absolute top-notch production and, in person of Simone Simons, an exceptional female voice. To cut it short: Dutch band EPICA knows their stuff extremely well. Shipment expenses counts as 2 CDs. Learn More
  3. FLESH & BLOOD - Blues For Daze +2 (digitally remastered)

FLESH & BLOOD - Blues For Daze +2 (digitally remastered)

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

FLESH & BLOOD was a short-lived but amazing super-group put together by Mark Mangold after his 3 AOR albums with Drive She Said, looking for a more rocking, bluesy-based sound. Alongside Mark Mangold on keyboards there’s the awesome Danny Vaughn (Tyketto) on vocals, Al Pitrelli (Savatage, Joe Lynn Turner) on guitar, Chuck Bonfante (Saraya, Drive She Said) on drums and Mitch DeStefano on bass. “Blues For Daze” is indeed a bluesy-based hard rock / classic rock affair mixing upbeat rockers and atmospheric midtempo / ballads with more than a hint of AOR / Melodic Rock. Danny Vaughn is simply the star of the show as his vocal performance is amazing, Bad Reputations re-issue, digitally remastered. Learn More
  4. GALE FORCE - Subhuman

    GALE FORCE - Subhuman

    €16.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

A new group without a doubt embodying the return of real rock is called GALE FORCE. The outfit is a driving rock band with something to say, combining infectious guitars & vocals, emotional melodies, gutsy rhythms and time relevant lyrics with line-up to include vocalist Mike Lee (BARREN CROSS), guitarist Tracy G (DIO), bassist Randy Ovideo and rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Paul Alfery (Walk The Walk). Gale Force has been together as a band for not even two years, yet they have put together a powerful album of metallic hard rock that completely sideswiped me. Singer Mike Lee has not lost a step at all vocally, as he is all over this songs from the get-go! Highly recommended for both Barren Cross and Dio fans ! Learn More
  5. GLASGOW - Zero Four One +1 (digitally remastered)

GLASGOW - Zero Four One +1 (digitally remastered)

    €13.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Another great rerelease comes your way. Scottish band GLASGOW from, well, Glasgow, with unfortunately their only full release. For whatever reason the band didn’t make it back in the day although the songs on their 1987 debut are excellent. Essential stuff for lovers of the likes of FM, FORTUNE or ICON. It’s keyboard-driven AOR and hard rock with great vocals (Mick Boyle). Comes with a bonus cut from the original sessions. Don Airey, today in DEEP PURPLE, guests on keyboards. One of the highlights on “Zero Four One“ is the energetic CHRIS THOMPSON cover “Secrets In The Dark“. Limited to 500 copies, digitally remastered and incl. liner notes by Dave Reynolds - so you better be quick! Learn More
  6. GREEN, JACK - Mystique (digitally remastered)

GREEN, JACK - Mystique (digitally remastered)

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Glasgow born singer / songwriter Jack Green is best known for his stints with T.Rex, Pretty Things and Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. As a solo artist he had his biggest success with the album "Humanesque (1980), containing the hitsingles "Murder" and "This Is Japan". "Mystique" (1983) was his third solo shot and slightly different compared to the two previous albums. It runs basically in the typical Jack Green vein.....power-pop , catchy hooks , clever song writing , but he may have been a little short on ideas as the over-all quality is not achieved as on the "Humanesque" album, so it's just a bit weaker than his previous efforts. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation records. Learn More
  7. GUNNER - Back 4 More

    GUNNER - Back 4 More

    €15.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Hailing for Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gunner formed in 2003. Back then they were known as Gunner Sixx. They have released two ’80s inspired albums; 2013’s "Keep Fighting" and 2016’s "All Access". Gunner definitely have the ’80s look and presentation going for them. From their aged album cover to their tight pants and long teased hair. As far as the music goes, they are far from the overly-produced anthems and ballads of the ’80. The music on "Back 4 More" is reminiscent of old ’80s arcade games and ’80s movie soundtracks. However, it would be sounds from the off-brand video games and B-Movie, maybe C-Movie soundtracks. There are certainly signs on this album that Gunner can do better. Learn More
  8. HEARTWIND - Strangers

    HEARTWIND - Strangers

    €15.00
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

HEARTWIND is the brainchild of Michael Rosengren (keys) and Göran Engvall (g/b) from Sweden. “Strangers“, that presents many voices, comes with guest appearances of Mike Lavér (DYNAZTY), Eirikur Hauksson (ARTCH), Erik Mårtensson (ECLIPSE/WET) and Mats Leven (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN). Swedish AOR/melodic rock but heavily influenced by DEF LEPPARD, JOURNEY and WHITESNAKE. Strong songs, amazing artwork and a pristine production, you really can’t ask for more! Learn More
  9. ICON - Icon (JAP CD)

    ICON - Icon (JAP CD)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

Originally known as Schoolboys, Icon was formed in 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona by high school friends Dan Wexler (guitar), Stephen Clifford (vocals) and Tracy Wallach (bass). They were joined by future King Kobra guitarist David Henzerling and John Covington (drums). In 1983, the band was signed to Capitol Records, and changed its name to Icon. While the band opted for big hair and spandex image, the sound of their debut ‘Icon’ (1984) is quite heavy, very melodic and catchy, but edgy - like a mixture between Dokken, Lizzy Borden and Quiet Riot. “Icon” had all the necessary elements to become a big success back in 1984..Strictly limited Japanese re-issue with a superb sound quality. 10. ICON - Night Of The Crime (JAP CD)

ICON - Night Of The Crime (JAP CD)

    €18.50
    Incl. VAT, Excl. shipping

ICON’s “Night Of The Crime” (1985) is rated by many people as one of the best melodic rock recordings ever! I bet you’d agree, if you listen to killer tracks like the opening ”Naked Eyes” and “Missing” with their great hooklines. But that’s not all! I can’t find any weak track on the whole album: “Danger Calling”, the guitar driven “Out For Blood” or the stadium rocker “Raise The Hammer” are excellent songs with fine melodies and amazing guitar work. I’m just wondering why the band didn’t get as much success as DOKKEN or BON JOVI - that's indeed the crime of the century ! Strictly limited Japanese re-issue with a terrific sound quality - don't miss this mega classic AOR monster album ! Learn More
