AOR HEAVEN RELEASES!

MIKE MACHINE - Alive

A: 11 € B: 13 €

Fight To Survive (Edit)

In Your Dream (Edit)

It's My Life (Edit)

MIKE MACHINE, a new band from the endless vaults of Sweden consisting of former and current musicians of power metal outfit CRYONIC is coming up. Their former frontman Michael Löfqvist has got a very pleasant and multi-layered voice. “Alive“ contains ten tracks for which the album title fits like a glove. Bombastic rockers like “Alive“, “Paradise“ or “Fireball“ as well as the ballad by the name of “It’s My Life“ immediately creep into your brain and stay. Great stuff for fans of HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, ZAN CLAN or MÖTLEY CRÜE, of course. Powerful production and no filers at all! That’s the way it should be! Another track to check out is the wonderful groover “Living On The Road“, capturing the feeling within the band for sure.

EXPECTED NEW RELEASES !!

LONERIDER - Attitude

A: 12,5 € B: 15 €

Steve Overland (v, FM), Chris Ousey (g/keys, HEARTLAND), Chris Childs (b, THUNDER, TYKETTO), Simon Kirke (d, BAD COMPANY) and Brain J Anthony (g) are probably what we can call a supergroup. Definitely closer to classic BAD COMPANY than to FM but definitely a true highlight of 2019. That’s how bluesy hard rock should sound like. For example “Fast Train“ or “Wanted Man“ will take you by storm.

DON FELDER - American Rock'N'Roll

A: 12 € B: 14,5 €

Legendary former lead guitarist and songwriter of the Eagles, DON FELDER is releasing his third solo effort and arguably the strongest of the three. The album features some of the biggest names in music including Sammy Hagar, Slash, Richie Sambora, Peter Frampton, Joe Satriani, Mick Fleetwood, Chad Smith, Bob Weir, David Paich, Steve Porcaro, Alex Lifeson and more. What’ll make fans even happier is learning that 'American Rock ‘N’ Roll' is as good or better than any music Don Felder has ever made. He seems to be that rare artist who’s getting better with the passage of time. 'American Rock ‘N’ Roll' is a perfect thing, an experience that anyone who cares about the core of rock music needs to have.

NEW RELEASES IN STOCK !

GYPSY ROSE - Reloaded

A: 12,5 € B: 15 €

GYPSY ROSE released the album ”Gypsy Rose” in 2005. Back then, it was an awaited album by a band that had been formed already in 1981 and then disbanded in 1993. Stylewise this ranges from rather pure AOR with a hard rock base, to sleaze tinged hard rock. AOR fans should check up the fine “Promise to stay” as well as the semi-ballad “Moonlight”. A few songs, like “You are the one” and “Fender ‘59”, sound quite a lot like a slightly more edgy SCORPIONS partly because the lead vocals of HÅKAN GUSTAFSSON has got quite a lot of KLAUS MEINE (SCORPIONS) over it. And the bonus track “Solitude” is actually among the best songs! Digitally remastered re-issue.

MASS - Still Chained

A: 12,5 € B: 15 €

Southern German rockers MASS - not to be confused with the American band by the same name! - put out eight hard rock albums with a great portion of heavy metal between 1977 and 1986. The best songs plus two brand new tracks have been (re-)recorded by the new line-up. Great stuff for fans of ACCEPT, SCORPIONS or URIAH HEEP. It’s definitely been worth the wait of thirty years! Welcome back!

N.EX.U.S. - N.ex.u.s.

A: 12,5 € B: 15 €

Italian outfit N.EX.U.S (Neural EXperimental Unit of Security) was formed in 2015 and with expansive and always intriguing arrangements, "N.Ex.U.S" is a varied album ranging from melodic hard and AOR, to progressive. Mastermind Alessandro Del Vecchio accepted the task of recording, producing, mixing and mastering, having been intrigued by N.Ex.U.S. since first hearing their material. If you find the time to listen to it in detail "N.Ex.U.S" is much more meaty than it seems at first listen. There's excellent arrangements, clever atmospheres, and some killer solos, all wrapped by a clear production. Kudos to Del Vecchio to get out the best of these guys, and at the same time for creating a very listenable, melodious record.

ALCHEMY - Dyadic

A: 12,5 € B: 15 €

With the previous album "Never Too Late" (2016) , Italian based  hard rockers Alchemy seemed unsure of their musical style, striving mostly for melodic heavy metal. Now the band has refined their sound to straight AOR melodic hard rock, yet with symphonic textures. Some metal edge remains with sharp guitar riffs and a big beat. However, with one listen, you can tell they worked hard to make songs with a large musical presence notably with stronger guitar lines, a tighter rhythm section, more vibrant keyboards, and bigger vocal arrangements. Alchemy has out done themselves for their second album. Showing fine musical maturity and creativity, Alchemy has delivered a fine and entertaining album of AOR melodic hard rock.

SPECIAL OFFERS !!

LIONCAGE - II

A: 4 € B: 5 €

LIONCAGE without doubt walk the path of TOTO, JOURNEY or HUEY LEWIS. Although being a German band they sound pretty international due to singer Thorsten Bertermann. "Secrets" with a guest appearance of Tim Pierce (e.g. RICK SPRINGFIELD) is a track that CHICAGO would have hardly done better in the eighties and for instance "Mysterious Angel" or "The Inner Circle" simply rock. LIONCAGE bubbles. The lions are ready to break out!

STEFAN BERGGREN - Stranger In A Strange Land

A: 4 € B: 5 €

The Swedish singer did some convincing appearances in hard rock bands and projects in the past (e.g. COMPANY OF SNAKES). "Stranger In A Strange Land" on the other hand is a comparatively quiet, mostly bluesy and partly rocking and  folkish singer/songwriter album. A nice piece of seventies sounding music. Certainly one of the biggest surprises recently. WHITESNAKE veterans Bernie Marsden (g) or Neil Murray (b), among others, are guesting on the album. An album to be paid attention to.
